Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Associate is responsible to assist the HR team with a variety of duties, including new hire onboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee assistance, and special assignments as needed. This position requires strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and a candidate who is process and data driven.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create new employee personnel files and assist with the onboarding process.
- Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate benefits processing, including, enrollments, COBRA, and all benefit changes.
- Prepare monthly benefits and Leave of Absence report for HR Manager review.
- Distribute materials for benefits orientations and open enrollment and provide customer service support to employees to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package.
- Enforce the completion and thoroughness of all necessary requirements & documentations relating to the employees desired Leave of Absence.
- Process all garnishment deductions and respond to Unemployment Insurance claims
- Maintain complete confidentiality of all HR-related information
- Assist the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees as needed.
