Position Summary
The PMO Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing various projects to standardize and strengthen HR practice across the organization.
This role will apply proven communication skills, problem solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the team to improve and efficiently execute business and quality system processes continually. Your sense of ownership of an initiative and your eye for detail will drive the HR team to success.

Ideal Candidate:
The desired experience and qualifications of the candidate include:
- Working with the HR Operations leader, assess broad global HR needs to prioritize and execute projects and program deliverables on time and within budget.
- Establish PMO strategy, framework, and standards for the Human Resources’ PMO Office
- Develops project plan and implementation strategy in collaboration w/ SMEs to execute sustainable/repeatable/ and one-time projects.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects across HR function simultaneously.
- Engages with stakeholders across the organization to design and implement project plans, ensuring projects align with business objectives.
- Identifies new ways for HR to support the business strategy and develop clear, actionable steps in support of the overall business strategy.
- Coordinate project closures to distill good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged. handing over projects to ensure sustainability.
- Build cohesion and motivate the team to produce quality work.
- Define and embed project control and governance.
- Provide project planning, milestone management, scope management, and resource forecasting, monitoring the projects from initiation through delivery.
- Document, analyze, and present updates and insights related to PMO office projects.
- Collaborate with change management team to ensure project success and mitigate risk.
Ideal Candidate:
The desired experience and qualifications of the candidate include:
- At least five years of relevant project management or PMO management experience.
- Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing a PMO office.
- Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of a project.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations.
- Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business.
- Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Personable, proactive, professional, and able to demonstrate total commitment to exceptional customer care and service. Work as a key member of the team.
- Possess the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $115,000 - $174,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
