Star Quality Air Conditioning is looking for a Service Manager to add to our team. Proudly serving Indian River and surrounding counties since 2006, quality is our top priority. We are looking for a service manager with the same commitment.

Job Duties/Responsibilites:

• Successfully operate all service department functions
• Manage a staff of trained technicians
• Ensure new team members are oriented to the expectations of the company
• Oversee assignment of individual's daily schedules
• Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure employee morale and productivity
• Promote, support and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment
• Be readily available to visit job sites to ensure proper and timely installations on a daily basis
• Fleet maintenance and tracking
• Organize training
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train field technicians

Required Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a staff of varying skill sets by consistently putting them in situations where they are most likely to succeed
• Success in driving revenue and quality quotas for the department
• Knowledge of HVAC principles and practices, including service hour estimation and labor forecasting
• The ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once prioritizing issues appropriately
• Outstanding leadership and technical skills are necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills, proactively addressing customer issues/concerns while forging long lasting customer relationships
• Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
