Creekside Counseling Group is a behavioral health company that is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner to join our extraordinary team of clinicians. We provide a full range of pharmacological, psychological, and behavioral health services to the Genesee county area. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients in a virtual environment.
• Diagnose and treat patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders, using evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including controlled substances, according to state and federal regulations, and monitor patients for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) and comply with all HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

• Current APRN-PMHNP certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment, utilizing telehealth technologies.
• Strong clinical skills, including physical assessments, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software.

We offer the flexibility of full-time or part-time positions. Creekside Counseling Group takes care of all the administrative overhead, including setting up the caseload, billing, credentialing, insurance, authorizations, and other administrative work, allowing you to focus solely on providing quality patient care.
