Objective
This positions oversees the daily operation, set-up, and minor sanitation of all packaging equipment and hardening room in the ice cream room.

Compensation

This a an hourly paid position, scheduled as 5 days a week and 40 hours per week; flexibility in your schedule is essential. The typical start time is 5 am.

Requirements
- Required to have basic math skills (multiply, percentage, ratios, addition, subtraction, divide)
- Must have good personal hygiene
- Must have excellent communication skills and connects well with other people
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Problem solve for the good of the company
- Flexible and works well with change
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Cleaning experience helpful, but not required
- Being mechanically inclined will help, but not required
- Production line work helpful, but not required
- Pallet jack and fork lift experience helpful
- This is a very physical job that requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing on concrete

Duties & Responsibilities
- Must fill out paperwork on packaging and ingredients.
- Help conduct solids tests.
- Participate in conducting washes on equipment between allergens.
- Help to main the organization of the freezer; including palletizing, rotating pallets, transferring to the larger freezer, and taking inventory throughout the day.
- Operation and set-up of filler equipment. This includes knowing how to switch the filler over between pints, quarts, and half gallons.
- Operations and set-up of shrink wrapper equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the quality of our product by check the presentation of the package, weight of product, and maintaining our freezer standards.
- Must be able to fill in on any position on the production line, other than the leads’.
- Constantly re-stock packaging.
- Must work safely around moving equipment.
