Overview:
The Immigration Specialist will provide comprehensive immigration support to Cotiviti’s sponsored employees and internal stakeholders. They will independently manage a caseload of employment-based immigration petitions and proactively escalate issues to the Immigration Counsel as needed. They will be responsible for ensuring that cases are filed within the appropriate deadlines and that the Company’s case management system and files are updated and organized.

This is a hybrid role which requires the candidate to work 3 days per week from one of two corporate offices in either South Jordan, UT or Blue Bell, PA.
Responsibilities:
  • Draft forms and support letters for employment-based immigration petitions, including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN, PERM, and I-140.
  • Communicate with employees, new hires, recruiters, HR partners, and managers to obtain required documents and information.
  • Independently manage day-to-day aspects of high-volume caseload and proactively escalate issues to Immigration Counsel as needed.
  • Track and monitor critical deadlines and appropriately prioritize caseload.
  • Provide case updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Update immigration case management system with critical dates and information.
  • Maintain organized case files (electronic and paper).
  • Keep detailed records of current case status.
  • Draft immigration-related employment and travel letters.
  • Coordinate receipt of required documents, including checks and signed forms.
  • Print finalized petitions and send to the appropriate government agencies.
  • Review incoming mail and update files and immigration case management system.
  • Post required immigration-related notices in the office and on company intranet.
  • Ensure compliance with company immigration procedures and federal/state regulations.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel on select cases.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of employment-based immigration law experience
  • Technically proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in an organized, disciplined manner
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Base compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
