Job Summary
The Implementation Project Manager role is broadly supportive of product installation at customer facilities. The role is planning, tracking, and communication centric, but also includes contributing to the infrastructure that enables product installation and subsequent support.
Responsibilities
- Performs customer facing project management for implementation of Fresenius Kabi’s products and services.
- Collaborates with the sales team to ensure a comprehensive hand off from sales to the implementation team.
- Develops project plans and maintains project tracking.
- Facilitates planning and collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Organizes and facilitates planning and status meetings with customer and internal team members.
- Leads the efforts of the implementation team members assigned to each project.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer project manager.
- Ensures timely delivery of commitments with customers.
- Keeps stakeholders and team members updated on all ongoing projects.
- Manages risk by identifying and building mitigation strategies.
- Fosters iterative improvement through retrospectives, feedback, and process adjustments.
- Contributes to field support functions as needed.
- Attends local, regional, and national meetings as needed.
- Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
- Travel requirement: 40%
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience with FDA compliance for medical devices (product installation, validation, complaint management, RMAs).
- 3 years’ experience with software services on production environments.
- 5-10 years of project management experience.
- 5-10 years customer-facing project-based role.
- Demonstrated coordination of internal and customer teams.
- Demonstrated success of on-time project delivery.
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with demonstrated time management skills.
- Fluent use of project management and customer support tools (i.e. MS Project, Salesforce).
- Deep experience with project tracking techniques.
- Must have the ability and willingness to travel frequently of approximately 40% – Air/Auto travel along with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet all hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
- Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
