Job description

Seeking a warm, nurturing and experienced Home Care Nurse to help care for children, teens and adults in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in pediatric or adult home health care and be comfortable communicating with patients as well as their family members. The Nurse will provide support and education to clients, provide medical treatment and administer medications when necessary. Schedule is flexible and home-based nursing is an ideal opportunity for professionals with a love for the healing arts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer appropriate medications, treatments and therapies to patients.
• Provide hands-on care to patients in their homes.
• Assess patients' condition, develop and implement treatment plan, educate patients and families about treatment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient conditions.
• Complete administrative tasks for agency, including billing and record keeping.
• Understand patient/family/community health concerns in various cultural settings.
• Be responsible for managing the patients' safety and welfare while they are in your care.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
