National Chimney is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all on site machinery as well as ensuring our facilities are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspecting equipment/machinery and conducting routine maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot sheet metal machinery i.e. CNC, Press Brakes, Spot Welders, Turret Punch, etc.
- Excels in working with their hands and spending majority of time on their feet
- Servicing and replacing old or faulty machinery
- Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs
- Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Provide technical support and training on new equipment
- Troubleshooting faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause
- Constantly keeping the machinery under supervision ensuring they are operating and optimal efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven work experience of Maintenance Technician or similar
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar
- Advanced troubleshooting skills required
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical
- Metal fabrication experience a plus
- Ability to read schematics.
- Ability to lift up heavy objects
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
