Commercial Banking is focused on helping our clients succeed and making a positive difference in our communities. We provide credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients - including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations.

Job Responsibilities

As the Industry Executive of Green Economy Banking in the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, you will be responsible for leading a team of national bankers covering Green Economy companies across four sub-sectors: Climate Tech, Efficiency Tech, Ag/Food Tech, and Sustainable Finance. You will set the strategy for the Green Economy team, deliver industry expertise and the resources of the firm to Green Economy clients and prospects, and manage a team of coverage bankers located across the country. You will also work in close partnership with senior leaders and coverage bankers in our Energy, Power and Renewables Investment Banking Team and other CB Industry Managers and bankers who touch Green Economy names. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating strategy with the multiple stakeholders across JPMorgan who are focused on the Green Economy and ESG, including the head of the Center for Carbon Transition, firm-wide Sustainable Finance executives, and tax equity and green bond product partners.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • Extensive industry and product knowledge across the Renewable Energy and Green Economy sectors
  • 10+ years of proven leadership, management, execution and influencing skills with a demonstrated track record attracting and developing talent, partnering across business lines, and leading inclusively.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Commercial Banking's business model, products, and clients
  • Excellent client relationship skills; successful at delivering the entire firm to the client
  • In-depth knowledge of financing, credit originations, and deal underwriting
  • Outstanding professional reputation both inside and outside of the bank
  • Strategic thinker who supports the goals and direction of the firm

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Ability to partner across lines of businesses and leverage internal resources
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and control framework
  • Proven leadership, management, and client relationship skills, as well as extensive industry and product knowledge, and strong transaction execution skills
  • FINRA securities licenses 24, 79 and 63 are required for the position; however, unlicensed candidates will be considered and will need to obtain licenses (have 90 days from start date per license) to stay in the role
