Information Technology Specialist- IT Specialist Opportunity
Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.
Position Summary:
The IT Specialist will efficiently address IT issues within facility and work with outside vendors to identify and rectify issues with IT proficiency.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
- Address IT issues, which include but are not limited to the following: Desktop/laptop repair, Set up desktop/laptop configurations, Adding/removing PC’s from OU, End user support, File and folder recovery, etc.
- Works with external support such as, Corporate Tech support and Vendors.
- Maintains printers including Xerox and other various printers and fax machine within the facility.
- Set up and troubleshooting of Avaya phones.
- May be required to work at other locations in addition to Rockford Center.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science strongly preferred.- Three (3) years of experience working in the computer field preferred.
- Knowledge of current computer hardware, software and programming skills, troubleshooting and repairing computers, printers, telephone systems and other IT systems throughout the facility.
- Experience in a hospital setting, or help desk setting preferred.
- Experience with Kronos, Windows 10, and MS4 preferred.
