Afternoon Shift (3pm-11pm)
NEW PAY RATES: $25.00 PER HOUR PLUS $.75 SHIFT PREMIUM FOR AFTERNOON AND MIDNIGHT SHIFTS
TI Fluid Systems is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered fluid storage, carrying, and delivery systems. We provide high quality, performance-critical components, systems, and services primarily for light vehicles.
We are actively seeking an injection molding Process Technician at our Chesterfield facility. The Process Technician will support production in order to achieve quality and productivity goals by using proper processing standards, procedures, and practices to monitor, adjust and control the molding process.
Total of 16 newer electric injection molding machines, from 85 ton to 140 ton. The facility is climate controlled. Very clean and organized environment. TI Fluid Systems is willing to train the right individual with some experience in the injection molding industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain controlled molding machine processes.
- Maintain clean working environment.
- Troubleshooting mold tooling and machine issues when issues arise.
- Complete part quality checks and proper documentation.
- Follow all standard procedures on Control Plans and scrap limits on QRQC sheets.
- Mold tool cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Communication of part, tooling, press, or material issues with Leader and Supervisor.
- Part packing and labeling as required.
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Skills, Education and Experience Requirements:
- Excellent attendance.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as multi-task.
- Strong organization skills as well as extremely detail oriented.
- Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel,).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Technically and mechanically inclined.
- Good mathematical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Injection Molding Process Optimization (systematic injection molding)
- Understanding of plastic material handling.
- Understanding of injection molding die setting.
