Summary:
This person provides prompt glass quotes and follow-up with customers and/or Sales Reps to maintain level of sales and establish growth. This position has the potential for temp to hire (based on performance).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes to customers and Sales Reps to support the company’s budget goals. Analyze blueprints and specification documentation to ensure codes and regulations are met. Communicate with customers to assist project related questions in order to provide the best possible product and design solution. Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates on time.
- Manage new business opportunities by communicating product specifications, coordinating internal and external part drawings, building bill of materials, and estimating costs while adhering to customer schedules. You'll initiate any customer-driven engineering changes and communicate effectively to overcome hurdles and win new business.
- Work closely with engineers, estimators, and other team members to compile offers that meet the customer's requirements and company’s profit goals. Track ongoing projects and work to turn them into orders that align with company’s financial objectives.
- Assist Office Administration / Accounting e.g. with Accounts Payable, Invoicing, or similar duties.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or one year of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Account Management.
- 3 to 5 years of contracting or cub-Contracting; contract management; construction management; project scheduling or similar planning & scheduling experience
- 3 years of glazing / façade / architectural building product industry; familiar with the construction cycle and roles of the key stakeholders in the construction team
- 2 years of sales administration, inside sales, manufacturing sales, blueprint reading
- Organizational skills: ability to multi-task, prioritize, and track deadlines
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer Literacy - MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite
Work Schedule:
Position is an on-site/in person role but can be hybrid. This is a manufacturing site with approximately 80 employees.
This position has a work week that is 40 hours, Monday through Friday. This is an overtime eligible position that is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Work outside normal business hours may be required occasionally.
Compensation:
Pay range: $26.00- 39.00/hour DOE
