Inside Sales Representative – Ontario, CA

Bay Standard Manufacturing, Inc. (BSMI) is one of the largest manufacturers of Domestic All Thread Rod in the United States. We have facilities in Brentwood CA, Stockton, CA, Ontario, CA, Tigard, OR, Phoenix AZ, and Salt Lake City, UT. We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative in our Ontario, CA office. In this role you will be responsible for all interactions with customers. The position will serve as the point of contact between BSMI and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to BSMI products and services. Find and establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers, present, promote and sell BSMI products and services to prospective & existing customers.

• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow up sales while understanding customer needs and requirements and determining the best course of action to address them and meet company sales objectives.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

• Manages assigned accounts, schedules orders for the delivery, expedites orders and all the supporting processes as needed while looking to identify and catch downward sales trends within their customer base.

• Actively participates in all branch telemarketing; calls or email-based marketing activities to support branch sales growth. Maintains all relevant sales documents such as a weekly sales call report, as required by management.
• Maintains and shares, with management, an understanding of the evolving market trends in regards to competitors, pricing and products.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions and work with little supervision while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and positive attitude to both internal and external customers while be sensitive to their needs.
• Able to formulate quotes for non-standard manufactured items.
• Has basic/intermediate knowledge of company products, company services, and product application.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills whom is extremely flexible and able to work through basic problems and issues in fast paced environment.
• Professional, possesses negotiations skills, good interpersonal skills and has an ability to influence and drive decision makers (both in written form and verbally)
• Possesses a strong focus on sales growth via customer service, and has strong attention to detail.
• Very familiar with Microsoft Office suite as well as relevant ERP systems and CRM (Customer Management) tools

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
• Completion of related general business courses a plus.
• Math skills required
• 5 year plus - prior inside sales/customer service experience required.

• Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year ($26.50 -$31.50 per hour)
