Essential Job Functions:

• Managing bids generally in response to RFQ from customers
• Find and align services/products at a reasonable price on behalf of customer base
• Orchestrate creative solutions and cost in conjunction with company network and resources
• Retain, expand and develop relationship with customer base through constant contact
• Keep track of sales activities (i.e. CRM documentation, sales reports)
• Partner internally to build solutions for customers, including pricing, implementation and future growth opportunities
• Maintain compliance with customer requirements while highlighting company value proposition.
• Effectively source, produce, and manage execution of bids and ensure that all customer specified milestones are met
• Develop a complete understanding network, products, services
• Anticipate account changes and improvements
• Organize authorized shipments and provide full instructions to Operations team involved.
• Strategic planning to improve client results

Skills and experience required:

• 2+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales
• Degree preferred
• Ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally
• Proven track record of success in freight forwarding sale
• Highly developed organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain an in-depth understanding of the diverse needs of each client
• Proactivity, ability to take ownership, willingness to go the extra mile for customers and build long term relationships
