The purpose of the role:

To visually inspect extruded vinyl profiles and package them accordingly to be sent to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect each part that is extruded prior to packaging for quality defectives and compliance to part specifications.
• Call out compromised, defective profiles that do not meet spec and bring the defective product/part to the attention of the Extruder Operator immediately.
• Inspector must measure and physically gage the extruded profiles to ensure they are meeting spec and log this information every 30 minutes during their shift.
• Safely and properly cut, move, sort and regrind vinyl scrap that is generated off each extruder daily.
• Area must be kept clean and aisles clear of debris at all times.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers and keep Supervisor aware of any safety concerns.
• Abide and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in trainings and comply with safety regulations.
