Northrop Grumman Space Systems is searching for an experienced Inspector 4 to join the Mission Assurance team within the Launch Vehicles business unit in Chandler, AZ.

The Inspector 4 uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually, in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies. Also, will perform in-process, configuration and final inspections on cable/harness assemblies. Accepts conforming items and reports non-conforming items via the non-conformance reporting system. Works from blueprints (drawings), diagrams, engineering fabrication tools, parts lists. Uses various measuring devices to ensure dimensional requirements are met, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, tape measure, rulers, protractors, calipers, customer furnished tooling (as necessary). May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. May also perform test data review as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance is required.



Salary Range: $53,300 USD - $88,800 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
