We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years working experience in related field along with strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical systems. Summary
The Installation Manager serves as an ambassador for the Company and is responsible for managing installs of mechanical and electrical components of compressed air systems equipment residing on client property. These include compressed air dryers, compressors, (reciprocating and rotary screw – oil lubricated and oil free), and filter systems. Services are performed on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions

- Maintain a daily work schedule for the install technicians.
- Maintain Inventory for install projects. Return all scrap for disposition at facility
- Communicate and execute install schedules with salesman and clients.
- Promote AST Air piping & fittings as lead product on installs.
- Keep daily logs of ongoing jobs.
- Maintain safe working environment for install technicians.
- Work with rigging companies to ensure proper handling of heavy equipment.
- Follow up on all completed installs with pictures and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
- Provide a weekly utilization of the installations technicians and jobs.
- Provide support to service team when needed.
- Program, troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
- Resolve customer initiated technical issues.
- Ability to startup and troubleshoot compressed air equipment.
- Work at customer site daily.
- Build and maintain client relationships through visits.
- Serves as a technical resource to customers.
- Partner with company sales representatives and management to increase service and aftermarket business.
- Ability to travel to assist other company technicians as needed.
- Complete service reports and send them to the customer and company admin team in a timely manner.
- Participate in Factory Training Sessions.
Candidates with prior field experience with compressed air systems are encouraged to apply. Any prior Factory Certifications for any type of compressed air equipment are not mandatory but would be beneficial. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other service technicians learning about Compressed Air.
Work Environment
This job operates in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Refinery, Power Generation, and other Industrial Environments. This role routinely uses hand and power tools as well as office equipment such as laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds repetitively. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, but candidate must be able to work flexible hours. Early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Overtime will need to be approved by VP.
Travel
This is an ‘on the road’ position traveling to customers sites up to 50 miles away. Overnight stays will be required, as needed, with the company providing paid lodging and meals.
Required Education and Experience
- High school/Trade School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Previous work history with a service based organization.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- The ability to pass government background checks and regular drug screening.
Required License and certifications
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Good driving record.
