Overview

We are looking for an out of the box Instructional Designer to join our team to ideate, research, create, edit, and continually evolve strategy, design and content creation for in-person and virtual training (print, video, facilitation, voiceover, live broadcast, 1:1, in-dealership, web content and communications) to be produced for our clients that is consistent with their brand. You should have extensive experience across all platforms, including in-person facilitation, content development, process mapping, behavior change, organizational culture change, and virtual live broadcast. You need to understand how to generate creative and interactive content that inspires adoption, behavior change, and implementation of tactics.

Responsibilities

• Develop experience design content with a team that inspires change
• Lead creative content reviews and ideation sessions with internal teammates, stakeholders, and clients
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the team to create concepts and curriculum strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling, unique deliverables that support client projects
• Use your strong knowledge of content strategy, design concepts, automotive experience, and emotional connection
• Identify meaningful trends and be interested in understanding what the trends mean to apply them to our work
• Provide dedicated support that may sometimes extend outside of traditional business hours
• Act as a thought leader by continuously identifying and finding solutions for areas of opportunity in the business
• Perform other duties as requested by client or manager

Qualifications

• Demonstrated history researching, ideating from a white piece of paper, designing, writing, coaching facilitators, and revising content that changes minds and behaviors to drive real and lasting organizational change
• Demonstrated history creating unique, unexpected, memorable, hands-on, innovative, and experiential training content that generates very specific outcomes
• 10+ years of professional experience in instructional design, writing and digital, video, print media content creation, or journalism
• Must be fluent in Office 365
• Must be able to work in multimedia software such as Frame.io
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills with an ability to make decisions for the business
• Flexible to work through video/conference calls, and sometimes meet at requested hours that may be outside of traditional business hours
