Description:Lockheed Martin's Upper Tier Integrated Air & Missile Defense (UTIAMD) Development Program Area is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM). This position will report to the THAAD Interceptor Development Senior Program Manager.
UTIAMD is responsible for the execution of THAAD Weapon System and Component design, development, integration, and test inclusive of expanded UTIAMD developments, follow-on, and R&D efforts for UTIAMD Programs. Development efforts include, but are not limited to, development of future Weapon System capabilities, incremental product changes, redesigns, and changes due to obsolescence, increased performance capability, cost reduction initiatives, technology insertion, and changes in response to an expanded target space.
As the Senior Program Manager (PM) the selected candidate will assume full lifecycle development responsibility including Control Account Management (CAM) oversight of the various work packages, management of cost and schedule performance, risk and opportunity management, daily program execution and engagement with program leadership and direct briefings to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer.
This position will be responsible for managing the Seeker development team. The objective of the seeker additional capability to the war fighter. The Senior PM is responsible for managing all aspects of the Seeker team's technical, cost, and schedule performance while working directly with MFC Global Supply Chain (GSC) where subcontract management is performed and the MFC Orlando Optical Component Center where the IR Window is manufactured. Integrated system testing of the updated product will be performed with coordination by Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) and Weapon Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT), with support from major subcontractor BAE Systems. Integrated testing will be performed within the THAAD Interceptor to verify product meets performance, physical and functional interface requirements.
Travel up to 25% as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Active DOD Secret clearance
12+ years of experience with development of interceptors (missiles) and associated technologies (electro-optics, electronics, avionics, structures, communications).
Minimum of 5 years leadership experience, with recent experience running teams comprised of Lockheed Martin labor and subcontractors.
Demonstrated program management or subcontract management experience; experience working with supply chain management to ensure product meets quality, cost and schedule requirements.
Demonstrated DFARS Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and direct experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and schedule risk assessments (SRA).
Risk and Opportunity Management experience
Desired Skills:
Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency, US Army or Department of Defense or equivalent complex, multi-tiered customer organization
Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
Familiarity with technology readiness levels (TRLs) and technology development and insertion
Experience in all aspects of Development lifecycle (requirements development, design, flight test, qualification, verification and product delivery)
Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute corrective actions and recovery plans as required
Experience identifying and managing program risks; Experience formulating risk burn down plans and ensures incorporation into project / program plans and schedules
Experience with risk tools to manage projects / programs
Support to Prime Proposal development and prime / supplier negotiation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
