Job description
The Interim Behavioral Health Director is accountable for the overall operations, efficiency, quality, patient satisfaction, employee engagement and financial soundness of the behavioral medicine service line. In collaboration with the physicians, medical director and other key stakeholders, establish service line strategic goals aligned with the organizational strategic plan. Responsible for implementation of service-wide changes across departmental lines. Utilizes performance excellence as the process to manage day to day business operations
Minimum Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in health related field within five years of accepting position
Preferred: Master’s level preparation
Work Experience
Required: Minimum of three years experience in health care management
Three years experience in direct patient care
Preferred: Experience in Behavioral Medicine Service Line
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Required: License as required by degree

Ability to apply technical skills and knowledge, critical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills
