Position Summary:
Warehouse Leads at Arvato assist the Supervisor in the daily operations of the Department. In this role, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership abilities by overseeing operations in partnership with your Supervisor, monitor and assign daily work to warehouse associates, track transactions created by personnel, and oversee the pick/pack operation.
Holidays and over time, including weekends, will also be required as needed.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Use RF system
- Coordinate with various ops teams (Control tower, inventory control, transportation) to ensure daily on time shipping performance targets are met
- Monitor the SAP delivery monitor for orders and communicate late orders to the team leads
- Communicate exceptions identified by teams to the Account Team (i.e. Inbound damage, missing part numbers)
- Follow up on issues as needed
- Work with local team to identify areas of improvement and report daily efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels of consumable (boxes, packing slips, etc.) Create requisitions in SAP as needed
- Monitor the packaging process ensuring compliance to customer packaging specs
- Oversee personnel in a professional manner
- Investigates Picking issues using SAP
- Assigns cycle counts as needed
- Be flexible with shift hours as needed
Job Requirements:
- At least one year of leadership experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
Key Traits and Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills with experience in Excel creating worksheets and reviewing/reporting data
- Previous experiencing with SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team Oriented
