Job description
- Perform cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environment.
- Analyze reconcile and process all inventory discrepancies/adjustments from cycle counts.
- Reviews upcoming requirements to ensure supplies are available to support production.
- Maintains inventory accuracy by making data entries in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in customer and year end inventory audits.
- Provide backup for other Stock Room personnel as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Experience & Education Required:
- High School Diploma/ GED and a minimum of three-year inventory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
Confidentiality
- The Inventory Coordinator is exposed to confidential O-AT-KA production information on a daily basis including; access to the company vendor relationships and knowledge of specific ingredients used in production.
Management Responsibility
- The Inventory Coordinator is an individual contributor role and performs job responsibilities within established policies and processes under the direction of the Stock Room Supervisor.
Work Environment
- Majority of time spent in an office or Warehouse environment. Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, fax, computer, etc.) as well as bend, reach and lift is required.
