Job description
- Sends out purchase orders and follows up on status
- Recommends purchases for blank stock items
- Issues internal purchase orders for production needs
- Monitor deadlines for samples to be sent to shows
- Review barcodes and product descriptions
- Assign item SKU and UPC
- Verify accuracy in ERP system and catalog
- Maintain master product information sheet
- Update sales team on inventory counts
- Update ship dates in ERP system
- Communicate wire information to accounts payable
- Demonstrates strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including typing/keyboarding and calculator operation
- Must be able to verify discrepancies in data
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to file accurately and efficiently using both paper and electronic filing systems
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to the seasonal workload
- View a computer terminal for extended periods of time
- Stoop, kneel, reach, stand, grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
- Repetitive finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, or neck movement
