Dakkota Integrated Systems manages the complete assembly and sequencing of modules for OEMs and Tier One suppliers.

Non-Production Responsibilities:
Non-Production Responsibilities:
- Manages multiple servers and workstations, ensuring proper integration of these components with existing company computer systems.
- Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems.
- Administers system security policy, to include firewalls, host and client access, file permissions, and user accounts.
- Installs and debugs new and/or upgraded software on server and client platforms, ensuring compliance with the current site licenses; designs, programs, and manages websites and associated pages.
- Researches, evaluates, installs, configures, and troubleshoots all hardware, peripherals, and equipment related to company network infrastructure.
Production Responsiblities:
- Support production in reducing / eliminating equipment and tooling downtime or scrap utilizing good analytical methodologies.
- Maintain and enhance production broadcast systems, error-proofing systems, printers and customer interface / communication (hardware & software).
- Maintain back up hardware and software for production based broadcast systems, error-proofing systems, printers and customer interface / communication (spare parts).
- Support departmental projects, VA/VE and/or Six Sigma activities.
- Develop and maintain production / broadcast system instructions and /or disaster recovery records (hardware & software).
General Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements various training and instruction programs for users on the use of operating systems, networking, applications and databases.
- Performs backups and recovery of data on all company servers.
- Document all activities as required.
- Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
- Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
Limits of Authority
- Advise Department Management of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.
- Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
- Initiate project RFQ’s with supporting documentation to be signed.
- Recommend hardware, software, tools or other items to be used to improve support or operation of company computer networks and/or databases.
- Quote / negotiate pricing and timing from vendors for equipment and tooling.
- Monitoring and enhance security systems.
Basic Education, Experience and Skills Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 year minimum college education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience in manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Good working knowledge of windows base applications and database applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as: (Windows 2003/200/NT/98, Active Directory/Group Policy. SQL Server, IIS, VMWare, Office, Notes, Crystal Reports, TCP / IP, WINS/DNS/DHCP, Printers, and RF, Switches, Routers & Raid).
- Possess excellent leadership abilities, organizational and communication skills.
- Able to maintain confidential information.
