Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and develop your skills as an IT Business Analyst acting as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community to elicit, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design, from which highly adoptable applications and solutions are developed and delivered.

The day-to-day role is to work with business and IT partners on understanding the business processes and performing business analysis techniques that enable ERP, EDI and E-Commerce projects to be successful. This role will support the Senior Business Analyst in leading ERP requirements gathering sessions to analyze, define and document business processes, requirements, and development of user interface design specifications for technology projects. This includes working with development team members by collaborating on the development, testing, and deployment of highly adoptable solutions.

This role will also assist with project management, validation and rolling out of enhancements and bug fixes. This role ensures the management and execution of projects to develop and deliver high-quality IT solutions using Agile principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the Senior Business Analyst to implement IT system enhancements and process improvements which deliver measurable benefits to the business

• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to elicit ERP requirements.

• Monitor ServiceNow ticket queue and respond to Epicor related incidents aiming to resolve within agreed SLAs.

• Managing EDI projects through testing, validation and implementation

• Work with 3rd party Epicor and EDI providers to deliver solutions.

• Develop lifecycle documents, include detail functional requirements, software requirement specifications, detailed design specifications, user manual and use cases.

• Translate business and user requirements into detailed system requirements for the IT organization

• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis, face to face and remotely via Teams

• Occasionally be flexible to support the wider IT team with ad hoc support tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree

• Passionate and proactive with a keen eye for detail and outstanding communication skills

• Keen and enthusiastic to learn the business, applications and make a difference.

• Competence in technical writing, including analysis and document preparation

• Basic understanding of EDI systems and concepts

• Basic understanding of quote to cash business processes

• Competent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of assigned projects.

• Ability to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze solutions, develop solutions and procedures.

Preferred

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly.

• Epicor E10/Kinetic ERP support in a manufacturing environment

• Project management and problem-solving skills, plus ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• C#, SSRS and Crystal Reports

• SQL Query

• Experience of ServiceNow Incident and Change management in an ITIL environment

• Knowledge of E-Commerce solutions
