As we continue to enjoy the re-emergence of the cruise industry, our It department is hiring for multiple positions including the IT Enterprise applications analyst. Our ideal candidate will be analyzing and testing enterprise applications - Contact Center booking reservation \\/ transaction platform (DTS); Systems of record and applications that feed the system of record to include (but not limited to) payment gateway (WorldPay); sales management system (Salesforce); financial reporting systems (Navision, DataTrans, iWare); HR solutions (Deputy\\/other) procurement applications (MMS), business intelligence platforms (BI\\/BO).
- Fundamental design thinking skills used to question the problem, assumptions and the implications
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience in test-driven design methodologies
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies and tools like Kanban, Jira, confluence, system mapping
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects
- Advanced technical skills a plus
- Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and assisting in the documentation process for developing solutions
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas, findings, technical documentation
- Perform business process and requirements analysis
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful documents that will aid in the development process
- Assist in managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring development roadmaps
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, users and technical teams
- Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
- Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focus
- Establishes and manages effective customer relationships with users of business, financial and operations systems, as well as technical team members
- Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units
- Responds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where needed
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
- Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps
- Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution
- Coordinates prototype demos with development teams and creates UAT kick-off demos.
- Designs solution test plans, coordinates and contributes as support to the application UAT process.
- Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
- Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
