Job Summary
The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance to ensure Heartland’s company systems, network, and infrastructure are protected from the ever-evolving cyber security threats. They will identify, analyze, and assist in remediation of security risks. Provide appropriate Tier II support, escalation, and resolution to cyber security problems when necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage cyber awareness program, engage with various departments and functions within the business as needed to improve knowledge of cyber security and best business practices in cyber security.
- Conduct analysis of reported phishing emails
- Provide oversight, review and audit of SAP Identities and access by working in collaboration with business partners to ensure accounts follow the concept of least privileges and separation of duties.
- Review and manage user and user groups AD access and privileges.
- Work with the business to conduct 3rd party risk assessments.
- Maintain risk register and manage remediation plans.
- Partner with desktop team to deploy and manage FIDO keys for end users.
- Implement and enforcement of security policies, procedures and work plans based on industry best practices.
- Maintain DR/IR plan runbooks management and support forensic investigations.
- Facilitate collection of materials and documentations to maintain compliance with cyber insurance.
- Review external penetration test and lead/manage remediation efforts.
- Respond to security incidents and analyze alerts, logs, and threat cases. Exercise good judgement when dealing with issues and ensure a sense of urgency in their resolution while remaining calm and focused while ensuring that no details are missed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and a minimum one year related work experience, or equivalent training and experience and proven 3-5 years hands-on experience in: Identity and access management, firewall architecture and integration, cyber threat hunting, research and mitigation, vulnerability assessment and pen testing, employee training and education.
- Hands-on experience with cyber training and awareness is required.
- Strong knowledge of firewall, EDR, antivirus, IDS/IPS, DLP, MFA, Nessus, and other network security tools.
- Knowledge of:
- MS Azure cloud suite, Microsoft 365 security and familiarity with SAP ERP security system
- Active directory security policies, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP protocols
- NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL
- IT security related certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISSP, CEH, CCIE, CCNP etc. would be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
