Responsibilities:

• Strong PC & Network troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with the end users to gather information and resolve issues (excellent people skills a must)
• Windows server administration such as patching and migration
• Maintain and update IT help desk ticketing system
• Support and maintenance of backup systems
• Support and configuration of Apple mobile devices
• Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting
• Installation and upgrade of hardware and software
• Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
• Assists in maintaining the Endpoint security software utilized on the network/PC’s
• Assist in maintaining the addition of new users to the network and establishment of rights and privileges
• Ability to determine computer problems and coordinate hardware and software solutions
• Traveling to the locations of Saint John, IN, Cedar Lake, IN and Mokena, IL during the work week (company vehicle provided for travel)

Education/Required Skills:

• Associates (2 year) degree, with a technical major at minimum
• 2-5 years system administration experience
• Proficient in Active Directory/Azure AD, Window Server, MS Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, MS Office 2013/O365, Group Policy, and Apple IOS
• Good knowledge and experience in building and maintaining internetworked technologies in a multi-location environment
  • Cisco Meraki knowledge; a plus
• Good knowledge and understanding of LAN administration
• Experience in managing Apple mobile platforms and associated secure connectivity preferred but not required
• Experience in IP phone system, IP camera system, MS Exchange on prem/online preferred but not required
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
