About the Job:

We are looking for a driven IT Specialist who possesses a passion for pushing mobile / web technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to help host, maintain, secure, and update our platforms which include using open-source LINUX, WordPress, PHP, Apache, MySQL, Node.JS, WP Engine, Nextiva, LiquidWeb, Etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assess IT Infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
• Manage daily operations of the IT Department including ownership of WP Engine, LiquidWeb, and Nextiva accounts.
• Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Protect in-house and customer data from outside infiltration encryption, secure data storage, and other necessary means.
• Assist with installation of new hardware and software.
• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, graphics, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MIS / IT Background
• Bachelor’s degree Required
• WP Engine, LiquidWeb & Nextiva experience desired
• Cloud Based Hosting – AWS Preferred
• Hosting of Websites / Environments
• Attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach with multitasking and organizational ability.
