We are looking to add a technical IT Support Specialist to our company! This individual will serve as the first point of contact for Procede Software employees; supporting our local staff onsite and virtually supporting remote staff. This individual will be in a unique role working directly in our IT department but also working closely with our Support Services department providing specialty technical support to our customers. This is an on-site role working from our Solana Beach, CA office Monday - Friday. – please only apply if you are local and willing to commute


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical assistance
  • Work assigned Zendesk tickets in a timely manner
  • Respond to employee issues via phone, email, online meeting, and/or RingCentral chat, etc.
  • Onboard, Offboard and Train employees on IT related topics
  • Run diagnostics to resolve employee reported issues
  • Assist with documentation and maintenance of all IT related procedures and KB articles
  • Escalate issues appropriately
  • Assign, image, install, configure, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Research and order equipment or software
  • Monitor / respond to technical infrastructure outages / alarms should they occur at any time
  • Help with customer-initiated support tickets requiring an advanced level of technical skill
  • Assist with software installations and configuration
  • Distribute executables and installers to customer SFTP folders
  • Identify and troubleshoot system performance issues
  • Provide technical support for customers

Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem (AD, Windows O/S, SCCM, Office 365, etc.)
  • Experience in providing technical and networking support
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve computer technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in providing technical and networking support
  • 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment
  • College graduate with a degree in a related Information Technology field, preferred
  • Current Microsoft or A+ Certifications, a plus


Physical requirements:


  • Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone
