Job description
Mid-sized manufacturing company located in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for a customer service oriented Corporate IT Support Technician. This person is to offer IT support to users in person, over the phone and virtually who are experiencing problems with their computers or software. They will address issues ranging from network systems to individual desktop computers. This Corporate IT Support individual must have good communications skills and be able to manage their time and work with minimal supervision. Although this position does not directly manage any other positions, they, along with the other members of the IT team, will interact with every department at every branch to provide IT support. Starting pay is commensurate with experience and certifications.
Any Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- Strong background as a Desktop Support Engineer (3+ years experience)
- Windows OS (10 & 11)
- MAC OS (12 & 13)
- Office 365 Client
- Basic Networking
- Experience in Asset/Inventory Management
- Hardware (Hands on)
- Software Basic Troubleshooting
- PC Imaging & Deployment
- Basic AV Support Knowledge
- Printer Knowledge
- Telecom Basic Knowledge
- Basic Mobile Configuration (iPhone, enrollment, wiping, basic troubleshooting)
- Ticketing Tool (Zoho Desk)
Responsibilities:
- Support In-house custom software, help test and train users.
- Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.
- Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
- Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
- Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
