IT Support Technician
The IT Support Technician is responsible for end-user technical support and supporting deployed IT solutions. The IT Support Technician works closely with other IT Support Technicians.
The IT Support Technician responsibility includes supporting on-site and remote users and their endpoints through a Service Desk. As the first point of contact, the Technician will provide technical support and customer service by identifying, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and analyzing problems to resolution.
The Technician is responsible for ensuring the issue has been resolved to the satisfaction of the user. A successful Technician will take ownership of tickets through the entire lifecycle from creation to resolution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide end user support:
- Ownership of technical requests – from the initial request through resolution, the Technician is the driver of technical services to end users and their endpoints.
- Troubleshooting Windows 10/11 technical requests and associated applications.
- Troubleshooting software – using resources to identify and resolve software issues.
- Troubleshooting hardware – upgrading and replacing components.
- Troubleshooting networks – UniFi and various other networks
- Troubleshooting client environment systems to meet user requests; including:
- Office 365 client environment
- Assist with change management, including:
- Provisioning accounts and imaging computers.
- Deprovisioning accounts, computers, and archiving.
- Set up local workstations with computers and necessary accessories.
- Responsible for keeping accurate inventory and documentation.
- Support and maintain client networks remotely.
- Assist infrastructure team with projects as needed such as deployments, rollouts, and general maintenance.
- Support business printers and copiers, VoIP phones, desktops and network hardware.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree, Trade certification, or High School diploma with equivalent experience.
- Proficiency of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
- Proficient knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware installation and repair.
- Working knowledge of networks and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Computer imaging process experience.
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Desktop and laptop hardware repairs and maintenance.
- Basic printer, network printer, and copier troubleshooting and maintenance.
Education/Technical Experience
Associates degree, Trade certification or High School diploma with equivalent experience
