Jabz Boxing is seeking to expand our team of fitness professionals and at the center of our workout are our top-notch coaches. Jabz Boxing coaches are personable, outgoing, hardworking, and motivational both in and out of the ring. Our coaches excel in a high-energy and community-focused environment and seek to form meaningful connections with clients.

Jabz Boxing coaches will motivate clients through our signature 20-station, boxing inspired circuit class. They are responsible for guiding members safely and effectively through our fast-paced multi-station workout and show them modifications and form corrections as needed. Our coaches are expected to be able to provide clients of differing skill levels with support and encouragement. Jabz Boxing coaches are dedicated individuals who are invested in their team and the workout; they occasionally assume other duties as assigned and are expected to work early morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary.

Requirements

• Must hold a current Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Fitness Instructor certification from an accredited agency such as AFAA, NASM, or ACE (others considered upon review)

• Must hold a current CPR/AED certification

• Friendly and passionate individual with a love for health, fitness, and the Jabz Boxing workout and fostering a sense of community in the studio.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Has previous fitness instructor experience

• Outgoing and personable with a desire to build relationships within and outside the Jabz Boxing community

• Reliable and professional team player with a positive attitude

• Comfortable leading a fast-paced class with loud music and lots of energy in the room

Duties and Responsibilities

• Available to coach at least 6 classes/week, willing to sub occasionally to help team members

• Participation in team meetings and studio events

• Interact and form relationships with clients and the fitness community

• Promote the success of the studio through all in-studio interactions, sales efforts, participating in promotions & events, providing announcements, etc.

• Promote your own classes (social media, word of mouth, etc) & grow your dedicated client base

• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service

• Contribute to a positive culture of feedback among coaching staff

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
