GK & Associates, located in Diamond Bar, CA is seeking an Junior Engineer for their client who will have specialized knowledge of Public Works, Water and Wastewater Treatment processes. Qualified applicant should preferably also have experience in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, such as Microsoft Suite, SAP, Pasta, and/or Maximo at a minimum.

Tasks/requirements will Include:

• Writing and developing scope of work for condition assessment task orders. Task order requisition for condition assessment.
• Planning and coordination of condition assessment with Agency's stake holders and contractors. Managing and updating the condition assessment list and schedule tracker.
• Review condition assessment reports and process task order closure.
• Assist in the development of condition assessment schedule and cost projections.
• Assist in documentation of risk mitigation recommendations, including work order and project requisition.
• Assist in archiving completed condition assessment.
• Assist in developing completion reports, technical memorandums, and presentation slides for management update regarding condition assessment.
• Ability to generate technical memorandums and project scope of work.
• Facilitate workshops with various Agency Departments to solicit input, occasionally
• Ability to take the existing documents and field verify. If the discrepancy exists, update the documents such as project scope of work, O&M Manuals, Asset Management Plans, and similar documents.
• Ability to efficiently navigate in MS suite programs such as; MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects. Background in managing small to medium (short life-cycle) design-build projects.
• Exposure to or background in Maintenance and Operations practices
• Experience in managing project reports, budgetary projections, and project schedule.

Requirements:

• graduate from a 4 year college
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience and knowledge in professional engineering or related water/wastewater field experience.
• Maintain a valid California Class C driver's license and insurability
• F.E. /P.E./ EIT required certification

Pay: $49,328.46 - $99,820.69 per year
