KMA - Kentucky Medicine Aide

Kentucky Medicine Aide - KMA Job Summary:

  • Pour and dispense all oral and topical medication.
  • Document all medication administration.
  • Report relevant resident observations to Charge Nurse.
  • Participate in weekly care plan meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drugs and new developments.
  • Perform other direct care tasks as required.

Kentucky Medicine Aide - KMA Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.
  • Completed 90-hour pharmacology course for medicine aides and maintained a "C" average.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
