Overview
Established and welcoming, The Club at ArrowCreek is quickly becoming Reno’s premier private golf and country club. Reno’s only private 36-hole Club, we are completing a three-year and $60M+ renovation, bringing accolades and new members from all across the country. The Club boasts a vast array of activities and facilities including two beautifully designed golf courses with spectacular views of the valley below, brand new fitness facilities, two contemporary swimming pools with 6 cabanas, multiple new dining venues to host a variety of social events. Located in Southwest Reno, the Club is only minutes away from high end shopping, world class entertainment and luxury real estate.

General Purpose: Child care workers are responsible for maintaining a safe and fun
environment from young children to pre-teens.

Essential Duties:

• Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily procedures.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities. Answers guest questions regarding such programs.
• Prepares snacks for the children.
• Promotes a fun, safe environment inside of the kid’s club and on the playground. Plans games and activities for the children.
• Provides excellent customer service to parents/guardians dropping off and picking up children.
• Keeps track of all children at all times
• Completes checklist for opening, closing, and daily procedures.
• Assists in the implementation of programs, youth programs, and special events.
• Provides a safe environment for activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
No prior experience or training

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, uses hands, talks and hears. Regularly reaches with hands and arms, tastes or smells.
Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Frequently works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, may work in high, precarious places, and may come in contact with toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:
CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, Washoe County Accomodation Facility Permit (may be obtained upon employment)

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
