Job description

A new indpendent laboratory in Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking a remote LABORATORY DIRECTOR. The lab uses Thermo QuantStudio instruments to produce qualitative PCR results for nail fungus and wound cultures.

Time commitment is 2 - 5 hours monthly. Position is entirely remote. Paperwork is handled digitally through Dropbox. The ability to effectively use a computer to download/upload and sign documents is required.

MD, DO, DPM, or HHS board certified PhD is required.

• ABB – American Board of Bioanalysis
• ABB public health microbiology certification
• ABCC – American Board of Clinical Chemistry
• ABFT – American Board of Forensic Toxicology (limited to individuals with a doctoral degree with Fellow status)*
• ABHI – American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics
• ABMGG – American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (formerly known as American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG))
• ABMLI – American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology
• ABMM – American Board of Medical Microbiology
• NRCC – National Registry of Certified Chemists (limited to individuals with a doctoral degree) *
