Mid-sized, reputable Insurance Defense Litigation Law Firm is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated FULL TIME Law Clerk (with opportunity to turn into an associate attorney upon passing the FL Bar Exam) with 0-3 years of experience in either plaintiff's personal injury law or insurance defense litigation to join its WEST PALM BEACH office.

PERFECT ROLE FOR FEBRUARY OR JULY 2023 FL BAR EXAM TAKERS!

IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 0-3 years experience in some of these practice areas IN FLORIDA: plaintiff's personal injury, insurance defense litigation, first party property, wrongful death, car accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, and/or product liability.

JOB DUTIES include working up smaller and high-value cases from initial pleadings, written discovery, assisting attorneys prep for depositions, mediation, and trial. Should have strong research and writing skills, including using WestLaw and Lexis. Helping attorneys prepare expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting demand letters, prepping attorneys for court hearings, substantive motions, preparing MSJs (and responses), writing detailed legal memos, status reports to carriers, settlement negotiations, and managing all files assigned to you. Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized and able to multi-task.
