Rainbow Restoration of the Low Country is seeking a Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing team! This position will be a Manager in training role as this territory continues to expand. This is the perfect opportunity for a Lead Technician to receive the mentorship training, continuing education, and skill advancement needed to be a Restoration Manager!
The ideal candidate has direct disaster recovery experience, is self-driven, enthusiastic, and motivated to make a quality difference within our territories. The core responsibility for this role is to serve as the team lead responsible for the restoration of property damage by water, smoke, fire, debris, or other methods of damage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage a small or large team safely and effectively mitigate damages
- Commitment to excellent customer service, attention to detail and technical knowledge regarding role
- Provide proficient performance in water restoration and mold remediation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow processes
- Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
- Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers
- Perform scope of work, moisture mapping, photos, and any necessary paperwork for job
- Inventory and load vehicle with equipment, products, & supplies needed for each project
- Prepare rooms/areas for job activities. Set up staging area/containment and equipment for each project.
- Leave job sites with a clean and orderly appearance
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
Skill Set & Requirements:
- Direct restoration experience required
- IICRC certification(s) such as WRT, ASD, AMRT
- Valid Driver's License with safe driving record
- Ability to pass a drug and background screening
- Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable with working in restricted spacing such as crawl spaces or attics
- Ability to travel to other locations (Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Hilton Head)
- Comfortable with being on call on weekly rotation.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
