Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain control of the classroom
- Must be able to create effective lesson plans
- Must be able to provide fun, hands-on activities for the children to do
- Must be able to effectively follow NC Child Care Laws.
- Must have EDU 119 AND Pro Solutions
- Must have some child care experience; references required!
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Must attend schedule staff training and staff meetings
- Must hold a current background check NC qualifying letter
Job description:
- The Lead Teacher will plan, supervise, and implement the daily class program in accordance with the polices of Little Red Schoolhouse Daycare.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and preparing classroom materials and lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behaviors; with use of redirection and removing children from the classroom when necessary.
- Setting up and distribution of snacks.
- Stocking and restocking of classroom supplies (toilet paper, napkins, cups, etc.).
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of the classroom.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
