Lead Technical Architect / Guidewire Architect (5+ Yrs GuideWire Exp Req)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Lead/Architect to join our team and take a leadership role in the development and implementation of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions. As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, leading a team of developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of ClaimCenter projects. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers to understand requirements, design solutions, and drive the implementation of high-quality software. This is a Contract role with possibility for extension or conversion to Full Time.
Responsibilities for Lead Technical Architect / Guidewire Architect (5+ Yrs GuideWire Exp Req)
- Lead the technical aspects of Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team, including code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software components using Guidewire ClaimCenter and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ClaimCenter with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and development methodologies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient development processes.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the insurance domain, and apply this knowledge to enhance the ClaimCenter solution.
Qualifications for the Lead Technical Architect / Guidewire Architect (5+ Yrs GuideWire Exp Req)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities.
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks and technologies.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex business processes and propose effective technical solutions.
- Proven experience in leading development teams, providing technical guidance, and driving project deliverables.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Insurance domain knowledge and previous experience with other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) would be a plus.
