Overview
We are looking for a Legal Operations and Contracts Manager to join Recharge's in-house legal team. As our Legal Operations and Contracts Manager, you will report to the Sr. Director of Legal and will be the organizational and administrative force of the team. In addition to owning certain projects and work streams, you will also be responsible for providing wide-ranging support to the legal team as well as a variety of internal business partners. You should be organized, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have the ability to manage and own a wide range of projects at the same time.
What You'll Do

  • You will work cross-functionally with other departments (i.e. Information Technology, Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, and Security) to scale enterprise systems and processes
  • You will provide administrative and functional support to commercial legal leadership, including managing Ironclad and Jira platforms, managing general legal and contract alias emails, fielding stakeholder questions and assisting with quarterbacking legal workflows
  • Partner with various stakeholders in the company to help drive business outcomes
  • You will manage domestic and international subsidiaries, including assisting with entity filings
  • Coordinate and monitor the legal team's budget, budget performance and outside counsel spend
  • Manage outside counsel and vendor relationships
  • Generate and develop the legal team's annual, quarterly and monthly metrics
  • Manage corporate documentation, including document and contract repository
  • You will develop resources and tools for internal stakeholders to self-serve legal issues
  • Develop training resources and manuals for the legal team to use with business partners
  • Actively participate in the legal team's effort to support Recharge's growth by implementing systems, automation, processes, and procedures
  • Support the legal team's review and, at times, own negotiation of non-disclosure agreements and vendor contracts
  • Assist with other general legal support as needed

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Prior experience as paralegal is a plus
  • Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management in various departments
  • Experience with technology tools such as Ironclad, Asana, Jira, SimpleLegal, Slack, Box, DocuSign, Zapier, Salesforce and Google Suite
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and vendor contracts
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing legal team
  • Detail-oriented and driven to do things right
  • Self-motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes
  • Effective in a dynamic environment, adapting to and managing change in a positive and proactive manner
  • A team player with a "winning as a team" attitude
  • Ability to work remote-first in a rapidly scaling organization
