Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
Salary: $49,025-$68,640
Perform clinical assessments which are to include DSM-5 diagnosis with the ICD-9 and or 10 codes. The evaluations will also include ASAM LOC placement report. Counsel clients and patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming substance use disorders, adjusting to life, and making changes. Develop treatment plans that are based on clinical experience and knowledge and within the clinical requirements. Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports within Federal, State, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliant. Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests. Collaborate with other resources to evaluate clients’ physical or mental condition based on review of client information. This position will be working with clients from all Alternative Sentencing Programs.
NH Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Proficiency in maintaining clinical documentation.
Duties require knowledge of substance abuse prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and physiological symptoms. Knowledge of detoxification practices for alcohol and/or other drugs.
Bachelor's degree in related and qualifying field and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and hold licensure with the State of New Hampshire.
