Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Job description
Position Summary:
Performs routine technical nursing duties and assists with other related duties involved in providing patient care. Works under the direction of the physician and supervision of Director of Nursing.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate from a State approved School of Vocational Nursing or Certified Medical Assistant.
- Licensed to practice in Texas, current in CPR License (American Heart Association) required.
- Ability to prepare patient for examination including identification of chief complaint, the taking of vital signs, height, weight, documents health histories, (i.e. data base updated annually) records medications being taken and observed symptoms, etc.
