Position Summary:

The Lighting Project Manager is responsible to generate and expand profitable sales in solar and wire project business for OneSource Distributors in a professional manner by planning, organizing and executing projects on-time while managing profitability and customer satisfaction.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Quotations Specialists and Account Managers to understand the requirements of the project to ensure that work proceeds on-spec and help facilitate a smooth transition with the customer
  • Manage customer orders from time purchase order is secured through acknowledgment to final billing including drawings, expediting, change orders and billing resolution
  • Organize and manage project documentation in such a way that it is accessible to all relevant parties; continually develop and improve processes that enhance the customer experience
  • Resolve all disputes associated with issues as they arise throughout the project process; work with customers, vendors and other OneSource departments to proactively resolve problems
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of a project to all stakeholders
  • Serve as information center for technical information and consult with sales team on the proper application of products when applicable

  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned
  • At completion of the project, prepare job recap, conduct a meeting with relevant parties to evaluate the whole project and discuss results and opportunities for improvement
  • Foster and maintain positive, effective business relationships with internal and external OneSource customers and other third parties at all levels and project phases
  • Act in an informal leadership role through promoting fair and honest dealings with suppliers; manage vendor relationships to benefit OneSource, our customers and the suppliers
  • Work with the Quotation Specialists and Account Managers to provide support on bid day when necessary
  • Support the branch strategy and mission of “Employer of Choice” which also aligns with the overall Company strategic plan; support Company initiatives through day-to-day actions
  • Participate in and follow all OneSource policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.).

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
  • Associates Degree; or
  • 5 - 7 years' of related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

This job pays an annual base salary of $75,700.00 - $113,700.00, depending on experience
