Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Neatly turns down bed, places complimentary items, set lights and performs all other turn-down functions to ensure an inviting and restful environment
- Takes notes on guest preferences. Reports guest preferences to supervisor/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
- Ensures guestroom is vacant before entering. Effectively prepares each room for cleaning
- Always removes all soiled linens from the room and makes the bed with clean linens
- Follows all procedures and guidelines for thoroughly cleaning the bathroom
- Always replenishes the guest room and bath supplies
- Ensures guestroom is thoroughly clean including closet and carpet
- Always double-checks and secures the room before leaving
- Maintains the housekeeping basket. Ensures it is properly stocked at the end of each shift. Keeps it clean and orderly
- Immediately reports any damage, broken items, or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years prior cleaning experience preferred
- Must have prior experience in a guest contact position
- Must possess excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
