Radiant Global Logistics is seeking an Ocean Operations Agent to join our growing team. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while overseeing all aspects of ocean import shipments. This position works onsite at our MSP location in Mendota Heights, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Quoting and booking ocean import shipments
• Manage and maintain ocean export bookings in accordance with client schedules
• Collaborate and build relationships with customers, carriers, and agents
• Dispatch shipments to agents or carriers
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to import bookings
• Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding discrepancies
• Monitor and manage shipments through completion
• Manage freight costs and accurately invoice clients
• Special projects as assigned

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in international freight forwarding or related industry experience
• Basic proficiency in MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, Teams
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to continuously multi-task
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with limited supervision
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
