The Logistics Associate will assist in the day-to-day shipping, receiving, and warehousing of all materials into and out of our Atlanta warehouses including the organization, maintenance, and auditing of Atlanta warehouses while ensuring compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures.


This role will need to be very comfortable in a team environment collaborating with other individuals, as well as the communication and documentation aspects of the role.


Responsibilities

  • Overseeing on-time achievement of all shipping and receiving ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Receiving in and shipping out of materials at the Atlanta Warehouse locations.
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Modem and router recycling as well as provisioning VoIP Modems.
  • Assist in quarterly inventory counts for the Atlanta warehouse and assist in conducting inventory of technicians
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene rules including all OSHA Laws and regulations.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Assist in the periodic maintenance and upkeep of the main office
  • Suggest improvement of warehouse processes and recommend inventory controls by identifying problems, and designing modifications.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.


Requirements


  • 2+ years’ experience in warehousing, inventorying, and/or logistics
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees and management.
  • Proven ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented work ethic, ability to self-manage tasks,
  • General understanding and experience in Warehouse management and ERP systems.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience operating manual and power pallet jacks
  • Ability to drive a forklift with Valid and current forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physical warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per day
