SUMMARY: The principal function of this position is to support the operations of the Lubricant Supply department and cost efficiencies for division as a whole. This position manages the freight arrangements and the tracking of arranged freight to ensure timely delivery as well as invoice discrepancy resolution.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 7 AM - 4 PM, onsite only

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares Bill of Ladings for outbound LTL shipments.
  • Provide all required documents required as a shipping packet to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate with all appropriate personnel regarding direct LTL shipments to customers.
  • Continually review freight costs to keep costs down.
  • Use good judgment to effectively resolve complaints from other distribution centers.
  • Streamlines shipping and tracking process.
  • Collaborate with bulk plant managers and vendors to assist with invoice resolution.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a high level of guest service to internal and external guests.
  • Represent Company with integrity, confidence and kindness.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Stay familiar with Company policies and procedures.
  • Promote and support company image standards.
  • Cross train and/or act as back up for other positions in the department
  • Adheres to all city, county, state and federal regulations
  • Communicate effectively with team members in other departments to resolve problems and provide information as needed
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite © software, Gmail, Google Sheets and Docs

Must be able to type and use ten key.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must possess a High school education or equivalent. Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent desired but not required. Other education/experience may be considered as a substitute.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
